That and it's like making a sequel to The Exorcist in which Regan is possessed again and both of the priests that preformed the exorcism are somehow alive.

Besides, even without the comics, in the pilot and Luna Eclipsed it's shown Luna wouldn't want to return to her previous jealous-of-Celestia state of mind.
