I entirely expected the next words in that sentence to be "children in the audience". I love the way the Faust reveal works and how, should you choose to go back and watch all their previous interactions, everything Riko does feels colored now. I know that's how I feel watching through Nexus again. Go back to episode 4 for example, that brief scene of Riko intensely painting... way more creepy then.

While Komon as a character is definitely growing, he's held back by Komon's actor. Every time I see that "RIKOOOOOOOOOOOO" scene, ugh. He does thankfully get a little better as the series progresses... Honestly shocked almost no one's brought it up.

Or the kaiju a lot, for that matter! Nosferu, between his appearance and the stories of what he's done, definitely make him one of the creepiest monsters of the series. That's saying something for a creature that basically looks like a giant naked mole rat. I've never seen Tsuburaya pull out the suit again, which suggests that like many other monsters he may have been cannibalized for something newer or otherwise unusable... shame!

Everything with Mizorogi always put a smile on my face, and will continue to as we learn more about him. If any of you enjoying Nexus happen to move on to other Ultra series, check him out in Ultra Galaxy and Never Ending Odyssey. His complete 180 in his role in those series... man.
