I'm debating whether I want to watch Shinkenger next or watch PR Samurai. I doubt PRS will have the same, but I do want to at least watch the series once.

The only thing Samurai will do is make you appreciate Shinkenger more. Samurai is nothing but Shinkenger verbatim with the only changes being bad acting (The worst of Power Rangers), unfunny Bulk and Spike scenes, and a butchered back stories for Juzo and Dayu. Also, the actor who played Samurai Gold based his performance off of Genta's performance, so you'd hate him anyways. If you've seen Shinkenger, you have no reason to ever watch Samurai unless you just want to watch ever PR episode ever.
