The Wolverine WAS actually quite good. In fact, it was better than Iron Man 3 and probably on par with Man of Steel, both of which I did not expect it to happen. One of the strongest advantages the movie has is that it focuses on only a small group of characters rather than trying to throw every mutant possible into the movie just for the sake of doing so. It was a very story driven movie that also skipped out on Bay Explosions for something a lot more grounded and down to Earth. Well, at least as much as a movie about people with special powers can be. There were a few scenes that the movie could have done without, but the character development was quite good and competent. While one might think that is do to how low the bar was set with X3 and Wolverine, I personally don't think it really was, and that they learned from their past mistakes. I guess time will tell with next year's Days of Future Past movie, so we'll see. Lastly, there is a scene in the middle of the credits, but nothing after, so once that scene is done, you are good to go. I'm going to give The Wolverine an 8/10. We'll see if that score holds with repeated viewings.

Paul is great. Not as good as Shaun or Hot Fuzz, but it is hysterical nonetheless.
