Faiz is... problematic. The concept is good and the suits and action are great. It's the characters and plot where things fall down. Faiz is where Toshiki Inoue get most of his negative reputation. The show is deeply swamped in melodrama and the characters cannot hold an open conversation about anything to save their lives (literally, in several cases). Much of the plot hinges on characters being needlessly reluctant to explain anything. The show also really suffers from the secondary Rider, who's Inoue's classic "unlikeable douchebag hero" dialed up to 11. He's a completely detestable character but he just keeps getting away with whatever shit he wants to. The plot is also full of holes and completely falls apart at the end.

It's a show that's worth watching, but don't go in with much in the way of expectations.
