And yeah, that's why I let the cure slide. Everything about it makes no sense, from how quick it takes effect, to how the mutant themselves regain their powers moments after the exposure has ended, to blah blah blah.

I really see no problem with the cure making no sense. If a mutation can give you fully functional retractable claws, the ability to remove other peoples abilites for your own use, frickin laser beams coming out your eyes or weather manipulation even though hereditary mutation doesn't work that way and yet no one cares about the science behind it, I can forgive a MacGuffin's inconsistencies!

But seriously, Beast's powers are the most realistic when it comes to real hereditary mutations, even if his fur is blue.
