I really don't feel that way. Wiseman had uncontested control over the Phantoms, Fueki had no concern over the lives of others. Why would he pit Haruto against the Phantoms?
If he needs Haruto, but Haruto resisted Fueki, why doesn't he just brainwash Haruto like he did Yuzuru and Green Mage (Forgot his name)?
Where did Fueki get the Mage rings when Wajima resolved to not create rings for him, anymore? If the Mage rings were created the same time as the Wizard rings, why were Haruto's rings different?

It feels more like they just tied all the dangling plot threads together and shrugged by having Fueki walk on set and just explain everything, rather than let the story come together as it should have.
