[conundrum]

Just watched the first episode of Xiaolin Chronicles...

It's not a straight up reboot but it's not a continuation of the original series either which is kind of weird. It's like this is an alternate reality where there's the same familiar characters and plot but some of the smaller details have changed. It might be interesting to see if they'll introduce old characters and follow the plot of the original or try and do it's own thing.

It's difficult listening to the new cast because I can still perfectly hear the unique voices of the original in my head all these years later. The old cast seemed to imbue a lot more personality into the characters. It's still early yet, so hopefully that changes.

Also: Ping Pong is really annoying and needs to go away. Now.
