And that's the problem. Could a Green Ranger solo movie work if it had the right backing? Absolutely. Would JDF be able to carry the movie by himself though? Probably not.

The strength of the Wolverine movies is that they have so much good source material to pull from for story ideas. A Green Ranger film would start from scratch in the story department and that would probably end horribly. Combine a terrible script with a lead with no real 'star power' pull (outside of the fandom) and it's a recipe for disaster. Sure, some would see it for nostalgia's sake but that will only get you so far.

I'm all for JDF headlining another MMPR film, but it's got to have a good supporting ranger cast and a good script to back it up.
