None of my friends watch any tokusatsu, but I can still make them laugh by explaining some concepts from the show. For example:

That was me illustrating Kamen Rider Wizard Infinity. It's not as funny as I could make it, but you basically can outline the sheer ridiculousness of the concepts. For instance, Den-O Sword form: a peach demon...

Right now, the best thing you can do is wait and let her open up to you, but maybe nudge her in that direction from time to time. Show her that you care, and don't forget to follow through on the caring.
