Dairanger 05. The show continues to come closer to having a plot!

I love how there is no friendship or chemistry between this team, and none of them are very heroic either. The suits and fights may be cool as hell, but these guys are awful. Well except Daigo, who is awesome.

The villain is a musical lipstick? Okay. And wow she bled, don't think I've seen that before. I really like the footsolders of this season, though, they have a lot of personality and don't take no shit.

So the Master goes Super Saiyan, but it isn't enough! Not only is the mech stuff really enjoyable visually, but it's nice that they don't just get all their mechs in the first episode and there is an actual story behind their conception.

The fact that they are sentient helps a lot too, as I remember when the MMPR would start crying about their 'lost friends' when their mech dies, despite being these giant robots that came out of nowhere. I mean giant robots are cool, and I'd hate to lose mine too, but friend?

I also love how Japan hates women, so in response Lin goes into a forest and blows the place up with her magic powers. It seems like something from a really sexist sketch show.
