I threw 'em my money because I like Inafune. I also like well-made 2D platformers that are just fun to play. I like that while their first game, Mighty No.9, is blatantly Mega Man for the community support, the intention is just to start a Japanese indie studio that just makes games that they want to make because they think they'll be fun. Kinda like a Japanese Double Fine.

A lot of indie studios try their hand at retro-inspired platformers, but not all hit their mark in the gameplay aspect, especially in level design. Here we have a team with an actual history of making fun games.
