Ooops my last Liveman write up was on the fourth episode, not the third, my bad.

Anyway, episode five.

I'm still really liking these Rangers. I love how the Red is lead on pure emotion, but isn't stupid about it. He isn't good for goods sake, he's just honest, and quite often honesty isn't always the thing the person wants to hear. And I love how this is balanced with the much more straight laced Megumi, borderline cold as she is focused almost completely on the mission. Just a shame then that Jou's comic relief always falls flat and he just comes across as an imbecile. Still they have such wonderful chemistry and I truly believe in their friendship.

Plus, I love how their individual talents are already established. They aren't just a bunch of rookies who miraculously master martial arts thanks to some spandex, they built their own Ranger powers and their own mecha, and those skills carry on outside of the fight footage. I mean that is seriously fucking badass.

The LiveCougar, despite the stupid name, was pretty fucking cool as well.
