Although this show has been like all filler so far, these standalone episodes are really well done. Both in the twisted nature of this show, but also in this shows ability to just tell really great stories, that really make us care, despite only having twenty minutes to tell it. The parents were, to all extensive purposes, monsters but knowing first hand what's like to lose someone that close, I could really appreciate why they'd be happy to kill for something so artificial, just to be around their loved one again.

About the only bump for this episode was that there is no way such a popular tourist spot, could also be the place where an old couple get away with mass murder. But I suppose suspension of disbelief is the main part of shows like this.

Also, Zero is back! So why don't poisons work on Makai Knights?

Fun bit of trivia: the son in this episode was played by the actor who played Kamen Rider Raia in Ryuki.
