I'm still annoyed by the shafting of Richard Rider especially when his series was going so well under Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning. Heck all Marvel Cosmic was doing great at the time. There may have been some lows (Annihilation:Conquest was not as good as it could have been) but there were some very entertaining highs (War of Kings) and Richard was at the core of a lot of it.

Now we have Sam Alexander who...well...I'm ok with the idea of a young green as grass new character but the Nova mantle was one that was coming into its own. Richard was slowly climbing up from third-string character status to something coming close to first string...then they ended him...

...And brought back Thanos and "Peter Quill"...It felt premature and worst it feels like Sam Alexander is being made into a tribute character to Jeph Loeb's son....which would be fine if Loeb had any ties to the Nova character at all prior to this. I'm giving the book a chance but my patience is wearing thin.
