Not even the tranquility of the Shrine could calm her this morning. Whatever had happened during the fight, she’d let that Soulless Bird escape. It was on her hands. Even if they’d found evidence it was destroyed in an alley.. It could’ve continued hurting people, she failed, and that was the bottom-line in her mind. Though what exactly had happened also bothered her. She hadn’t done enough damage to the Bird to cause it to just destroy itself like that. She was sure of it..
The rake scraping across the cobblestones, scooping up leaves of red and orange, brought her back to reality. She needed to clear her mind. She focused on this place. The serenity of it.. “Mina-Chan!” Shattered again. She huffed. Yes, she huffed. Watching as Toshi walked up the stairs towards her. Guess she couldn’t run now, could she?
“What do you want, Toshi-Sama.” He frowned, stumbling back a moment as though he’d struck her. “Such a tone.. And here I brought good news. Sort of. We have CCTV footage of whatever attacked your Birdie. And.. We have a problem.”
When she saw the footage she knew exactly what he meant. Another Rider, another one chosen and given the power to Seal the Mujona. Though this one seemed to destroy them outright. Where her power offered them peace inside the Next World.
“Guessing that wasn't you?” Mina just shook her head. “Mother said one day others would come, but she never gave me descriptions.” Well, he didn’t like hearing that. “Then you have to confront him. Find out what he wants, if he wants to help. I know I know, you can do this by yourself. But we have to know what side he’s on. And we have to know soon as possible.”
She agreed.. She agreed with Toshi which made her feel uneasy, but sometimes he was right. Goddess help her.

Night had come. The last of the lanterns were lit along the path leading to the shrine, leaving the cobblestones and forest illuminated in flickering light. The wind picked up though. Blowing through her long black hair, turning her attention towards the shrine itself.. And her eyes widened. There was a man standing against the doorframe of the shrine. He was tall, with shaggy blonde hair and sunglasses. Wearing a black school boy’s uniform.. But what he held is what had her attention. It was the Axe Scythe from the photo Toshi had showed her earlier that day.
“Seishin looks after a Shinto Shrine. Kinda on the nose, don’t you think?” The man scoffed, pushing himself off the wall. Hefting the long weapon with ease as he brought it down along both shoulders and just casually rested his arms over the weapon’s handle.

Wanna Play, Puppy-Chan? ... Come on.. Let's get to know each other! HENSHIN.

His grin spread between his ears as he casually tossed the Guard Driver into the air, gripping the end of his Axe Scythe with both hands only to swing it like some great bat.. Striking the Guard perfectly so it caught the peg and engulfing the weapon in orange flames!
The Flames caught his clothing, burning every piece away from his skin revealing the crimson and black of his armor beneath. With the cuffed gloves and boots, the black hood pulled over his grinning face until the featureless crimson helmet snapped into place. And his grin was overtaken by the white and black of his mouth guard. Kamen Rider Creed had been born again.
Mina barely had time to leap backward as that massive weapon came crashing down where she'd been standing, sending debris flying and destroying the perfect walk once beneath her. Landing with her sword drawn, her eyes narrowed and she charged towards Creed. "Henshin." Slamming the Guard Driver home she was overtaken by her Kunoichi inspired armor, her waist-length black hair flowing off behind her after the helmet locked into place and the eyes flashed crimson.
Kamen Rider Seishin slashed her blade across Creed's handle, sparks flying between them. Illuminating their masks as they pressed power on power. "Oh, Puppy-Chan has some bite to her!" Kicking himself off, Creed launched himself skyward and took the Axe Scythe within both hands. "DECAY!" His weapon began glowing dull purple, black mist pouring from off the weapon's blades as they hurtled down towards Seishin. Eyes widening all she could do was run as it came crashing down around her.
More cobblestone broke off the road and flew around her. But something was very wrong. The cobblestones each had black mist raining off them, and they were crumbling.. Decaying! Turning her head she saw the awful truth. Everything his weapon touched began to rot, rust, decay, wither, and crumble. Pain brought her back into reality. Widened eyes watched as a piece of cobblestone struck her thigh, watching as the miasma began eating through her suit exposing her leg beneath. Watched as the exposed flesh became black and her thigh gave out beneath her.. She stumbled, rolling on the ground as the blind-searing pain forced a scream from her throat that she felt shake the ground..
But Creed stumbled. Was that a gunshot?! Looking up she saw Toshi, standing over her, blasting away at Creed with the Shotgun from his squad car no doubt at the bottom of the hill. “Mina-Chan, thought we had a deal?” Toshi sighed. “Stubborn as your mother.. Take my hand.”
Seishin trembled, she hated being chided like a child but her stubbornness and the ferocity of the attack had almost cost her life. Reaching, she stretched out her hand, a glowing light forming between them..

HENSHIN KITSUNE SEISHIN!

Seishin was lifted off the ground gingerly as though held by the arms of her Mother, brought upright once more and facing towards Toshiro. And when their hands touched Creed screamed in agony as the space around them filled with brilliant white light and the change within had begun!
Toshiro’s body changed, becoming that of the mythical seven-tailed Kitsune of Lore. Bounding around, circling, the floating Seishin. One tail touched her right leg, one tail touched her left, healing her wounds and burning away her costume to reveal a skintight black suit beneath. Forming her white leg armor and boots. One touched her right forearm, one touched her left, creating her full-length gloves from bluish flames. One touched her lower body, one touched her upper body, forming the Monks Robes around her body of cream and pure white. And the final tail softly touched her forehead. Creating the Kitsune-inspired Seishin helmet.. The final piece came as the Kitsune straightened himself out, turning himself into a Khakkara Monk Staff with Seven Rings and her Guard Driver attached to the back. Seven tails of bluish flames spread behind her, and with a single spin of her body the light created by her henshin was sucked into them. Leaving the world around her dark for but a moment..

KAMEN RIDER KITSUNE SEISHIN!

Light returned to their world so ferociously Creed was thrown backward, but he caught himself. Skidding to a halt upright on what was left of the cobblestone. “Not impressed, Puppy-Chan. You forget I’ve seen all this before.. When HE came and killed your mother!” Creed charged, letting his blade skip off the walk as he rushed towards Seishin.. But she just rose her staff skyward and struck the bottom against the ground. Making each of the nine circlets chime. “Cascade.” A wave of energy formed behind her, rolling like waves all around her and capturing up Creed helplessly in their torrent. Forcing him to hurtle towards a nearby tree.
Landing hard on all fours, Creed stood again. Growling with each breath as he watched Seishin Kitsune slow walking towards him, holding her staff now with both hands. The battle resumed!
Creed and Kitsune both swung their weapons, making them clash between them again and again. Slowly, Kitsune began pushing Creed back. Frustrated, Creed leapt towards the treetops. Landing perfectly on a broken trunk out of her reach. “Until next time, Puppy-Chan!”

Creed disappeared and Seishin gave a frustrated huff as both she and Toshi became themselves again. Mina slid her arms close against her stomach, almost mourning as she saw the damage wrought her once beautiful shrine. Until Toshi’s punch between her shoulder blades sent her crumpling down to her knees. “Your pride almost got your killed, Mina. .. I told you he’d come, I warned you that sooner or later they’d all come.” Grunting, Toshi rubbed the back of his head with his right hand. The left tucked into his suit’s jacket pocket. “Next time just call me, girl.”
Lesson over. He’d offer his hand, and she’d accept. “Them all...” She repeated. Creed was just the first.. The advanced guard. Who’d come next then?
