Also, unlike the tips of the crest, it isn't curved to begin with. It's a triangle point, stretched upwards, rather than two slopes.

What I'm saying is that looking at the outer spikes,they both curve the same way,to the right.So shouldn't the middle spike curve to the right too due to distortion? If the same tile is doing the distortion,then the middle spike should flow the same way,not just be wobbly.
