Anyway, as a movie, I felt it did well enough. It told it's story well enough, Human Pinkie knowing everything was scoffed off by the others, so I didn't mind it (That and it was immediately followed by the "HE CAN TALK!?!" line which may have mellowed any issues I would've had with it ), Sunset was generic, but she was really no worse than Nightmare or Sombra. Then again, I like schemers...
For the fanservice, they weren't subtle, but they weren't blatant either. They didn't shove it in your face (Scootaloo's chicken dance is a blink and you'll miss it, Trixie's cape and hat only show up in the background, Vinyl's glasses being removed wasn't a big scene, etc etc), so the little shout outs didn't really get to me and it just felt like the animators having fun.

It's an average movie, but to me and a few others, going into it ready to hate it and coming out liking it, that's where the charm emerged.
