Another weird episode, moralwise. When Ippo wins his debut match, he hopes for fame and glory, however his classmates show initial interest but then quickly grow bored and move on. However the bullies, seeing Ippo has won his debut match, now idolize him and want to be his friend. Take up boxing now kids, and get in with the delinquent crowds!

Hell, even Takamaru who is shown as a sort of father figure to Ippo, was just some bum who got in fights all the time and the Old Man gave Takamaru a place to vent his violence and frustrations for "good".

Still it was fun to see Ippo have another fight already, if anything this was more interesting than his debut match thanks to his opponent being a dirty cheater but it's just a shame that his opponent didn't have the same amount of focus Oda did.

I like how Ippo slowly builds his fighting style as he goes, adapting new techniques to improve on his weak areas, after they come up in each match, slowly making him a boxing patchwork.
