"You want me... to count my sins...? Then, is it a sin... to love...?"
Rather poetic final words don't you think? But I've been thinking, what did Jun Kazu aka the Utopia Dopant exactly mean by that when he said it? His sins/crimes (however you choose to translate it) where rather clear weren't they? That's when I got to thinking, sure, Jun being the technical final enemy in Kamen Rider W sure raised a lot of hell in his time on screen, but he didn't exactly do it because "evil."
There were motives behind most his actions for the most part. His main goal was completing the plan that Ryubee had already set in motion and he only went after the riders only after they attacked him and took Wakana from him. Now why would he enact a plan that wasn't his to begin with? Well, it's rather simple. It was his "love" for Saeko Sonozaki. Think about it, who allowed the riders to get away from Jun? Saeko. Who did Jun trust enough to let his guard down? Saeko. Where am I going with this? Well, it's my belief that Jun put more weight on the reason behind an action rather than the action itself. When W told him to "Count up his crimes," Jun took it as "Tell me the reasons for said crimes," and when Jun said "is it a sin to love someone?" that was him saying "I did it out of love."
What do you guys think? Is there another side of Jun that we don't know about, or am I just pulling stuff out of my ass?
