And not all of the villains were jokesters. Lamia and Grifforzer were serious while Bukubaku and Tatobas were goofy. Plus, Satan and Kai were serious.

How do you feel about DaiRanger then? The first 10 episodes were multiparters. In fact the majority of the series was as well.

The multi-part arcs in Dairanger weren't as consecutive as those in Zyuranger, and at least they were easier to follow. And they didn't give me a "WTF is going on?" moment like episode 5 of Zyuranger did when Geki was struggling to save his teammates and other innocent kids turned into trees when he was suddenly whisked away into a foreseeable future where his team was dead.

Another thing is that Dragon Ranger, Great Satan and Kai are supposedly awesome and all, but I'm not gonna sit through X number of filler episodes before getting to them. With all that said, can I simply skip several episodes before I jump into the Dragon Ranger arc?
