For the record, I wouldn't say I hate Decade or Gen 3, but they are my least favorite of their respective franchises. Well.....maybe Gen 5 is tied with 3.

I loathe Decade, not for what it did, but for what it promised. It constantly built up Tsukasa and the story as some great mystery, then never followed up on any of it.
Adding that so much of the community goes by the mentality of "It introduced me to [Blank] Rider series" and gives it a free pass because of it, Decade as a whole leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I spent 2 years trying to just ignore it, but it turns out being passive in my disdain for that series led to me being grouped in the "Loves Decade" crowd, so I'll take any chance I can get.

Gen 3 almost killed Pokemon for me. As much as I wanted to hug Milotic, the rest of the game completely destroyed my interest. I even went so far as to join the competitive Pokemon circle just to try and reinvigorate my interest in the franchise (That did not end well).
