I suggest you don't worry about it. People may judge you and you might not have as many friends, but you'll get a stronger set of friends who really value and appreciate you. Because of my straightforwardness with my friends, I get to discuss everything from bronies to Pokemon to Star Trek with them. They may not like all of my interests but they respect my opinions.
