Well Seth Macfarlane says he wants to shake things up, so... But I did read somewhere that Brain well be back in the next season. Not sure if they meant bringing him back or just having him appear as a ghost or something.

I'm liking the new dog Vinnie, he's voiced by one of my favorite The Sopranos character,Paulie.
