Overall, Double is a better series than Den-O, but Den-O is freaking hilarious, and that could be the factor that some people would prefer.

I still believe OOO had the best balance of comedy and drama (Keeping in mind that I have only seen Ryuki, Kabuto, Den-O, Kiva, Decade, Double, OOO, and Fourze).
