But that's all they have to work with when it comes to sentai. They aren't armored in the same way that riders are, generally just basic spandex/lycra suits with a few other ornamentations. . The gimmick can't work quite the same way it does say for Gaim.

I'm not saying it's a great gimmick by any means. But it helps me understand the costumes better.
