Okay, that maybe covers the submarine.

But a giant flying pirate ship covers literally everything else. Since it can fly through the air, and air is everywhere, it covers for both the ground vehicles and the other smaller flying vehicle.

Except it doesn't turn into a robot. It turns into a robot torso. The rest is supplied by the laziest looking limbs I've ever seen. What's the point of having a combining robot if you only care about one part? Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose? In fact, a single pirate ship that fully transformed into the robot Megaranger style would've been greatly superior.

The half-assed pirate theme is only part of the problem. The fact that the Megazord looks utterly primitive and awful is the main issue.
