The VO guy lied anyway. We aren't getting every past ranger, from every past season, plus whatever they're calling Dairanger. (And yes, Dairanger was left in on purpose. We reported last year that Saban has the rights to Dairanger and will be using the suit footage in SMF). What we're getting is a year of being dragged along until a finale that has, not every past ranger, but the ones that could show up in New Zealand because Saban (Somehow) forgot that he was doing an anniversary season and didn't send out invitations until the last minute
And think about this. If he would've put Megaforce on Vortexx and given it a normal season that lasts a single year, then not only would we not be so far behind Japan that we're not getting Kyoryuger until 2017 (20-frakkin-17!), but then we'd have a new cast for the Gokaiger adaptation. Emma and Gia can handle being Luka and Ahim. But Jake as Doc. That japanese footage is going to be fun.
Seriously. You knew you had the rights to Power Rangers again. You knew you were doing this idiotic broken season thing, making 2014 the anniversary Gokaiger year. And you didn't send anyone any invites until the very last minute? And then he says "it's the most expensive season ever!" So far all there's been is reused Japanese footage, and eight returning rangers. So... what exactly did you spend all that money on, Mr. Saban?

... This post turned into far more of a rant than I originally wanted it to. But I kinda went off on a tangent there.

Just a note - we never reported that Dairanger was going to be used. We did state that Saban Brands has the RIGHTS to Dairanger footage, as they used the zord footage and Kiba Ranger footage (Saban can't buy parts of footage, it's all or nothing). Plus, with the rights to Gokaiger, they can use ANY SCENE in Gokaiger they want.

I personally do not believe that Dairanger will be shown. As I've said so many times, Jason David Frank has stated that no one who works on Power Rangers actually knows anything about Power Rangers. Saban Brands has made every attempt with Bandai to remove all "non-Power Rangers" from any marketing stuff (ie: pre-Zyuranger Sentai teams) from any packaging (and they got upset at me when I pointed out on the Monopoly game at SDCC).
