I highly doubt the most of the funding comes from BBCA, they'd film more over there or across the UK and not in Wales of all places. Its more likely BBCA gets more extensive trailers because

- Its a paid premium channel
- BBC UK doesn't deal in long trailers
- Doctor Who simply doesn't need that level of TV promotion here. Its already one of the biggest things on television and will be on the cover of every tv guide come next week.
