Losondro may hate the devil's den that is the GTS, but a little patience and a lot of luck can lead you a long way.
(And pro-tip: Make the offer. Instead of browsing through the millions asking offering Magikarp for Xerneas, just put your own Pokemon up for trade. If it's reasonable, you'll see a lot better results (I've gotten all the starters in one night over the course of an hour by offering Feebas or fellow starters I've bred that I didn't need))
