As I have been slow to watch Toku the last year or so, I still haven't finished Ryuki, and Tiger was only just appearing when I stopped watching, so I know nothing about the character. But SHF Tiger is one of my favorite figures.
He has the great poseability and balance of the SHF Ryuki body, he has every hand that has ever been released in any SHF Ryuki figure, and his unique accessories are among the best. Tiger has 4 Advent Cards, 6 full pairs of hands (punching, card holding(yes, Left and right card holding hands!), angled weapon holding, vertical weapon holding, calm open, and more splayed open), Dest Visor (the axe), and two Dest Claws.
The Claws are amazing. Each of the five individual blades attaches via a ball joint, with a surprising range of movement, both forward and back, and side to side. They're lovely rigid plastic, with pointy ends, none of this child-safe nonsense a more child-friendly toy line would have to give us. I find that the articulation allows for the claws to really add a lot of character to the posing of Tiger. He can look menacing, or silly, or whatever you want.
The Dest Visor is also a fantastic looking axe, it can be held one-handed or two-handed, and looks great either way. They blade is huge, putting poor Den-O Axe Form to shame. Also, since it's a Visor, it has an opening gimmick to allow the figure to slot an Advent card in place.
The only drawback to this figure is that it's one of the releases without a Contract Beast. A tad disappointing, but that also leaves him one of the more affordable Ryuki releases (it also helps that he was a regular retail release). I highly recommend this figure, fan of the show/character or not, it is a fun figure, excellent poseability and fun accessories. And hey, hopefully someday there will be a Destwilder release.
