Looking back at this, I was trying to think of where Ryugen would fit in regards to Sengoku history.

Then it dawned on me.

Kamen Rider Ryugen is heavily based on a more Chinese influence. China has had numerous periods of war in its history, with a period often referred to as the "Chinese Sengoku Period" ... however, I think Ryugen more mirrors a famous Chinese character from a later period, namely the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" period, which featured another era of Chinese infighting and multiple states vying for control and power.

Micchy has shown himself to be more of a strategist, an adviser of sorts. The most famous adviser I can think of in Chinese history would be from the "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" era, or for those who aren't familiar with that term, the same period used in the "Dynasty Warriors" video games.

Could Ryugen be a representation of the great Kongming, aka, Zhuge Liang of the Shu-Han kingdom from 208 AD to 228 AD?

Ryugen is referred to as a "Dragon" ... Kongming/Zhuge Liang is referred to as the "Hidden Dragon".
