To answer your question Mnemonic about the way the hat attaches. When the legs come together to form the car there's a groove they create down the seam which the hat pegs into. It's as simple as that but it's very sturdy. This whole set is quite sturdy and nice, I'm interested to see how much functionality is retained by the BOA version.

Ah, thanks boss! Very nice! The hat was pretty much the only thing I was concerned with, as it doesn't *look* all that well attached in photos and videos I've seen.
