Being cheap is nothing new for Saban, if anything they need a creative team with fresh eyes to over see the brand. It has nothing to do with money because honestly, everything about Megaforce can be fixed with a few comic books or text stories. I agree, yeah Megaforce is boring but everyone needs to stop comparing Power Rangers to Super Sentai and just take it for what it is and expect the worse. Being a Sentai and PR fan is like having one of your favorite movies remade every year, you're always going to be disappointed.

I agree that Noah wasn't a good Gosei Blue either as well as a horrible Gokai Blue and when he starts wielding 5 swords at once and fighting with one hand behind his back, that's going to be even more apparent. I know they tried to make him a bit more awkward in unmorphed fights, but it still is a big difference from Don's distinctive fighting style. Watching Troy while his body is acting cocky as hell saying crap like "never underestimate the teamwork of humans!' and "Together, we'll overcome anything!" is going to awkward too.

As soon as you get over the fact that the Megaforce Rangers ARE NOT the Goseiger or Gokaiger, you'll be better off. The suit acting has always been a problem in Power Rangers, but it does help when you see a bit more American footage and the actors in costume which we didn't get much of in Megaforce.

I expect Silver will be introduced very early and they'll go on with footage from there. Pre-Zyu Sentai were used in the first 18 episodes much more often because once Gokai Silver came in, the majority of the Gokai Changes were all teams with sixths, which were all Post-Zyu.

The fact that they had to make so much new footage is the reason why Megaforce was so cheap looking. Remember, Saban is cheap so to think that we ever had a chance of a 40 episode season of an "American Gokaiger" series us unrealistic. At this point they are basically coping their MMPR strategy and using 100% Japanese footage and original footage to bridge the gaps, unlike late 90's Saban and Disney just wanted to tell a story regardless. Saban wants to spend $100.00 and get a million back basically LOL!
