Okay, Gashapon and DX lock difference time!

As you can see, the DX (Budou) have rounded out flat edges on the hinge and it's smooth. On the gashapon (Matsubokkuri), the hinge area curves a bit and there's a tab on the bottom.


Opening it up, the DX has a smooth inside with some details to finish off the fruit, while the Gashapon has large indents and a tab.


Another simple thing is that DX have LEDs and Gashapons don't.


The back is definitely where more differences are. As you can see, there are a bunch of buttons on the back of the DX. They both share a common button, the one that activates the sounds. The DX has more, with two smaller ones. The one closer to the big button is the button that activates in the Musou Saber. The one farther away is the one that activates the sounds for when it's plugged into one of the Drivers. The Gashapons lack these, and all their sounds (just the name, the henshin sound, the finishers, and sometimes "KAMEN RIDER _____, _____ ARMS!" for the standard Fruit Lock Seed ones). Also, the speaker "holes" are larger on the Gashapon.


And last but not least, the Lock parts are a solid piece on the DX, while the Gashapon are in two pieces.
