I'd be remiss if I didn't bring up Ultra-Act Zoffy. Most of you don't give a crap about Ultraman, but Zoffy is an important minor character from the original series and made many subsequent cameos, as the captain of the Ultra Garrison.

And his Ultra-Act release not only pre-sold out, it sold out within the day of release and already commands obscene secondary market prices. There was a random restock of Zoffy last week on AmiAmi and because of the demand, AmiAmi offered no discout, just full retail of 3180 yen. Zoffy sold out in hours regardless.

You tell me a current Figuarts release that has done anything close to that.
