Got my hands on a first release Jp gokaioh to compare.

In case anyone is wondering the differences are:

Barley any over and under spray on Jp. Korea has it in abundance. Ruff edges are everywhere.
Yellow metallic paint instead of actual gold paint on the Jp
"Face strap" painted over on korean vs Jp left red.
Underpaint. Plastic shows through paint in some spots as the coverage is inconsistent throughout
Packaging is a blister bubble and not card for Korea. This is an issue because the way it's packaged leaves rub marks on the silver on gokai racer.

Plastic feels the same.

Hopefully someone who was in the same boat as I was when having to choose which to get will see this post. The misinformation about them being the same on the web is what lead me to purchase. Spend a little extra and get the Jp or Asian release if you care about the QC of you Sentai mecha.
