Exactly, it was an accident. Tony Oliver told me that they were eight episodes in of filming when someone on their crew brought it up and they just had that look of, "Ohhhhhhh boy." They never even thought about it. Hell, I never even thought about it until someone brought it up to me back in 2002 when he said, "Man, I cannot believe they casted the black dude as the black ranger and the asian girl as the yellow ranger."
