Aimi walks through the forest, she climbing over fallen tree branches as she works her way through it. She was venturing out into these woods as she was concerned for her friends in the Dreamrangers. When she last saw them, they were being led away by two men dressed in black kimonos. The look she saw on all three members of the heroic team told her that something was terribly wrong. She left her friends and decided to follow the group, but they moved to quickly and alas she lost them.
Fear for her friends is what drove her to do this, she not giving up till she finds the three. Along her way she rips her kimono some, she getting cut a few times along her arms and legs from the environment around her.

However she presses on, she knowing how important it is to locate those five. If her assumption was true, then the two men who led the Dreamrangers away were the Nightmarerangers, she curious to see them and see how powerful they are.

Eventually, Aimi comes to the top of a hill overlooking a clearing. She falls onto her back to catch her breath, she smiling as she feels the sun shining down on her fully and not in spots as it did throughout the forest. When she stands up, she sees that Dream Ruler, the robot of her comrades is out. Aimi quickly looks around for a wraith but sees none. She soon looks over to another hill, she getting her first glimpse of the Nightmarerangers. As she spots them, she seems them pointing an arm at the ground and one to the sky, her ears becoming filled with their voices.

“NIGHTMARE RULER! RISE!”

“Nightmare Ruler?” Aimi asks herself aloud.

After their shouting out, the area around all six people becomes as dark as night, the clouds becoming an ominous hue of black, purple and green, the ground becoming foggy. The ground then begins to glow dark red, it soon splitting open in a wide circle before the giant known as Dream Ruler. Inside the cockpit, the Dreamrangers look on in shock as two mechas fly out from the hole, one a red dragon roaring to the high heavens. The other mecha is that of a regular robot, it colored black and white just like its pilot. As the two beasts fly into the sky, Red Nightmare and Black Nightmare jump into the air, they flipping as they ride the air over to their respective mechs, they then phasing down into them.

*Cue Nightmare Ruler theme*

After flying high enough, the robot spins it’s body around to face Dream Ruler. It’s head then folds down into it’s body, the dragon then wrapping it’s body around the robot, it placing it’s front claws to two back of itself to reveal two connection points.

The head of Nightmare Dragon then folds itself down onto the chest of Nightmare Warrior, Nightmare Ruler’s head then sliding up to reveal itself. The wings of the dragon then spread outwards against the back of the now almost complete giant robot. Nightmare Dragon’s legs then separate themselves from the dragon’s body, the sliding into the connection points that rest where Nightmare Warrior’s legs use to be. The talons of the feet raise up, two robotic legs then sliding out form where they use to be. The dragon’s tail then shoots off of Nightmare Dragon’s body, it flying over to, and then connecting to the right arm of the robot, thus completing Nightmare Ruler, it's eyes glowing dark red.

“W what is that thing!” Keiji questions, his voice filled with fear.

“This my dear Dreamrangers is our special friend. Behold, Nightmare Ruler!” Kuzunaki informs them.

“N Nightmare Ruler?” Syuri questions.

“Now, prepare to die!” Black Nightmare shouts out as Nightmare Ruler launches forward.

Eleventh Dream: From the Abyss, Rise of the Dark Ruler!

The tail of Nightmare Dragon which is now acting as a blade for Nightmare Ruler slashes into the torso of Dream Ruler, sparks flying out from impact. As the robo of Morpheus turns it’s back from the strike, the Musashi brothers deliver another blow to it, sliding the bladed tail straight down against the back of Dream Ruler. As the strike causes an earthquake like effect with the cockpit, Paige shouts out to her teammates.

“Guys, we need to bring out the Dream Beams!”

“I’m on it!” Syuri shouts back, she pushing a button to her left hand side.

Dream Ruler then delivers an elbow strike to the abdomen of Nightmare Ruler, the blow sending it back some. Dream Ruler then turns around to face it’s foe, it’s hands retracting into it’s body, two beams of golden light then shooting out of the empty spaces to form bladed weapons.

“Take this you little pricks!” Syuri shouts towards her enemy.

The group then swings the right arm of their robo down towards the opponent’s neck. The nightmarish brothers react quickly though, they blocking with their arm blade. Nightmare Ruler then delivers a punch to the left hip of Dream Ruler, it following it up with a punch to the side of it’s body. The Dream Rulers do not all back though, they then countering with a Muay Thai kick to Nightmare Ruler’s left side, the blow strong enough to but some space between the giant robots.

With enough space between them now, Keiji pilots the mecha to bring it’s left arm down towards Nightmare’s legs. As The Nightmarerangers block the blow, Dream Ruler then punches into chest of Nightmare Ruler, piercing it some with it’s beam energy blade.

“Nice shot rangers. Too bad it’s the closest you’ll get to putting that thing in our body!” Jūbei shouts out from their cockpit.

The two then throw their robot’s arms up into the air to shrug Dream Ruler’s away. The evil mecha then flies up into the air, it waving it’s left hand in a mocking manner to the Dreamrangers. Syuri grins beneath her helmet as she flies Dream Ruler up into the sky, making an immediate slash attack towards the enemy. Nightmare Ruler blocks the attack, it then deliver one of it’s own as the beast kicks Dream Ruler into a nearby mountain, the force of the robot slamming into it causing the mountain to crumble. The three heroes pick themselves up slowly.

“Damn, that thing is strong.” Keiji says to his female comrades.

“Indeed. We’ve only landed a couple of blows while it has dominated us.” Paige throws in concerningly.

“Any ideas you two?” Syuri asks?

"We could try shooting at it. Maybe it would give ourselves some form of an advantage if we can keep it farther away from else.” Keiji suggest.

“It would give us more room to perform the Dream Rush.” Paige states, adding onto Keiji’s words.

“It’s worth a shot.” Syuri ends with.

The group retracts the blades of Dream Ruler, only for two medium sized cannon like barrels to slide out. They then begin firing repeatedly up to the hovering Nightmare Ruler. Kuzunaki reacts quickly though, the wings of Nightmare Dragon flinging themselves around the body of the robot, acting as a shield. With the wings in place, the blasts deflect off of them, they flying into the nearby environment. In their cockpit, the two brothers laugh at the efforts of their foes.

“You must give it to them brother, they sure are the persistent type.” Jūbei says.

“That is true. I do tire of this though.”

“Shall we end them then?”

“We may as well put them into submission.” Nightmare Red replies.

The wings of the dragon fling back to as they were. The Musashi brothers then bring Nightmare Ruler’s bladed arm back as it crouches some, as if ready to sprint off. As they do this, the blade begins to glow with black energy, Nightmare Dragon’s mouth which is attached to the center of the body of the robot opening, red energy forming around it.

“Uh oh!” Keiji shouts out.

“Paige, Keiji, brace yourselves!”

The Nightmarerangers go to unleash their attack, but stop suddenly. The dream fighters noticing this look on curiously. Nightmare Ruler flies down to the ground, it turning it’s back to the Dreamrangers. As the three watch this puzzled, the reasoning comes very clear. As they look off to the side, they see a giant wasp like creature buzzing towards them.

“I guess Jung wanted to give us an active day.” Keiji comments.

“I suppose so.” Paige responds.

“I hate Saturdays..” Syuri mumbles to herself.

The wasp wraith slams into Dream Ruler, the robo grabbing hold of it and throwing it and the wraith down to the ground, the two rolling away. As the two beings roll along the earth, the Dreamrangers hang on tight within their cockpit so that they won’t fly about it. This couple song comes to a part of the forest near a river. The two beings stand up, Paige noticing that they left a trail of fallen and broken trees in their wake.

The wasp then flies up to the mecha, it assaulting it with a barrage of strikes from it’s claw like hands. As the claws strike the metal, sparks shoot out some. The rangers fight back quickly though, as for every hit they take, they deliver a punch of their own. The two giant beings trades blows continuously, the two forcing each other back eventually by the power behind their blows.

The last blow sends Dream Ruler sliding back towards a nearby farm, just barely missing it. The three look on as the wasp gets up from the last blow it received, it injured but seemingly not as beaten down as most of their enemies have been.

“Seems like Jung Wanted to give us a real challenge this time.” Keiji says aloud.

“Yeah, this wraith is stronger than the ones we’ve fought in a past. The others were strong, but not this tough.” Paige continues on for him.

“We haven’t been challenged this much by a wraith since our first fight with Dream Ruler.”

“It’s quite the fast bug isn’t it?”

“Yeah. We may be fast but it’s out moving Dream Ruler here like nothing.”

“Not to mention it’s striking us pretty rough to.” Syuri adds in to the
conversation. “We need to take care of this thing fast and get back to those two punks.”

“What do you suggest Syuri?” Paige asks her commander.

“Hmmm, that stinger is what is giving us trouble, perhaps we should take that out of the equation.”

“Sounds like a plan. Get rid of the stinger and then take care of the rest.” Keiji concludes.

*Cue Music*

Syuri nods her head before pushing a button. The left hand of Dream Ruler retracts into it’s body, it being replaced by the familiar golden blade of energy. As this occurs, the wasp buzzes in anger, it flapping it’s wings violently, it ready to assault the team. As it proceeds to burst off towards them, the Dreamrangers pilot Dream Ruler to partake in the same movement, the two giants flying towards each other. As they get closer, Dream Ruler raises it’s bladed arm up in a position ready to strike.
The two pass each other in the blink of an eye, sliding away from each other, turning around as they do so to where they eventually are locked on the other’s eyes. As it stares down it’s mechanical friend, the wraith’s stinger begins sliding down some, it eventually off of the wasp’s body. Once it does so, the creature lets out a loud buzzing screech, purple blood gushing from the now amputated stinger.

“Let’s end this sucker!” Paige announces. After she does so, Syuri and Keiji laugh at her optimism and sudden burst of adrenaline.

“This one sure seems eager for once.” Syuri says, shaking her head playfully as she continues to chuckle.

The right hand of Dream Ruler retracts as it becomes replaced with one of the cannons. Dream Ruler then flies up into the air, it unleashing a giant blast of energy down towards the wraith. The robo then falls down to the ground, it slamming the energy blade against the earth, it causing gold energy to shoot through the earth towards the enemy, it splitting the ground as it does so. The wasp has no time to react, the energy from the ground tearing the beats in two, the two halves then being blasted to dust by the giant ball of energy, purple blood splattering over the area.

As the Dream Ruler’s hands slide back out from it’s arms, the robot flies down to the ground again. The rangers having no chance to brace themselves fly around the cockpit as the mecha falls, they smashing into everything as they fly about. Once seated back at their positions, they bring Dream Ruler up to it’s feet, they coming face to face with Nightmare Ruler.

“We hope you three enjoyed that little break from our fight.”

“Because now we’re going to end it.”

Nightmare Ruler then forces it’s right foot into the gut of Dream Ruler, sending the giant robot flying into a nearby water tower, the tower crashing to the ground and flooding the area immediately. As the rangers get ready to launch an attack, they become distracted as the Nightmarerangers head up into the sky.

Just like before, Nightmare Ruler crouches down and brings it’s bladed arm back, black energy once again forming around it. Nightmare Dragon opens it’s mouth again as well, red energy forming inside of it’s mouth.
“Don’t tell me…” Keiji begins.

“Get ready for a hell of a ride.” Syuri replies.

“NIGHTMARE RULER, ABYSSAL NIGHTMARE BURST!”

Nightmare Ruler then throws it’s arm out diagnollay towards the mecha of the dream kingdom, the black energy flying off the blade, it taking the form of a sharply curved blast. After the black energy is fired off, Nightmare Dragon releases the energy it had stockpiled, a fiery ball of red energy flying out from it’s mouth. The ball of energy slams into the curved energy blade, it propelling it forward faster.

The two energy masses slam into the middle of Dream Ruler, causing an immediate explosion. The cockpit explodes in a rain of sparks and flying wires, the shock wave flinging the Dreamrangers through the mecha and down into the forest. The three slam down against broken trees, they still in their suits. As they look up to Dream Ruler, they watch it split into their respective mechas, they rushing back through a portal and into the dream kingdom.

The rangers slowly stand up, they walking away slowly from where they landed. After a while, they reach the river where they did battle with the wasp wraith. However their escape is interrupted, their ears becoming filled with the laughter of two men. They look across the river, Red Nightmare and Black Nightmare, they standing on a small incline.

“Miss us?” Black Nightmare asks mockingly.

The three Dreamrangers stare coldly towards the Musashi brothers, the two laughing at what they have put their enemies through. Syuri clenches her fists tightly, her face coiled in anger beneath her helmet.
