Although I don't usually like this kind of tone for a tokusatsu show, there is something beautifully operatic about the opening episode of Faiz. Even in its intense melancholia, it's profoundly beautiful - within the limits of this genre, of course. I find it sort of wonderful. BTW, does anyone know of plans to scrub Faiz now that the Blu-Rays are being released? The promise of an eventual HD fansub would certainly help me prioritize the next Rider series I watch.
