Keep in mind MatrixBeast I'm merely asking you this out of curiosity, not because it really matters who likes what character. I'm just very curious since you've been called out on this by other members, and not just Kholonafan.

You seem to be taking a single moment from one episode and applying it to her entire run as a main character. In her first episode she found Treecko, "creepy" so she chose Torchic over it at Birch's lab. I think that's probably what you're remembering, since I can't think of any other time she was bothered by any other pokemon.

Well what I meant was I can't remember any time Max ran away from sometime May said, and I've rewatched the whole AG series 3 times so the episodes are fresher in my memory than yours. Are you thinking of the time Max got mad when Ash beat his father in the Gym, and he stole the badge and ran away? Or the other time where Max got lost in a forest, and May had to go find him before the ferry had to take them to the next Contest? Neither of those had anything to do with Max running away from May because of something she said.

Virtually all the Pokemon girls have the same basic personality in filler episodes unless its an episode heavily focused on them. In any of the May-focused episodes of the series, what arrogant moments she goes through are for character development.

Back when Hoenn was airing the writers probably weren't sure what they wanted Contests to be yet. That's why they resembled battles more than actual Contest techniques that came up when DP started.

Well I know you're not a fan of the anime, but you seem to comment on it often hence I am interested. I see from your profile your current age is 22, but Hoenn began airing back in 2003, meaning you were what...about 10 years old when that saga was airing for the first time?

Sounds to me that when you were 10-12 years old you saw those episodes with the mind of a child, and since you never revisited them later, you don't seem to actually have a viewpoint of them. It doesn't really matter whether you like a character or not, but some of your reasonings seem very odd or off base. It's almost like you *want* to continue hating a character for no reason.
