That said, while there may have been snow storms in the last few days in Japan, there is no excuse for it not having been shipped by the 7th if you were told five business days. That's just ridiculous.

Hopefully you can file a claim, because I would, trustworthy or not there is no reason for taking two weeks to ship, because now, BECAUSE of snow storms, it's going to take even longer.

Yokatta is a middleman service run by one person. Filing claims against them is only likely to stop them from providing us with these options for importing. Yeah, delays suck, but again, this isn't a major US retailer, it's one person living in Japan. They can sometimes be slow responding to emails, especially right after Japanese holidays and severe weather conditions. Cut them some slack.

If it's been over a week since they said it would be shipped out now, the better option is to just email them asking for an update, don't jump straight to the pitchforks unless they continue to ignore you (which is very unlikely).
