Disclaimer: This won't happen. There's absolutely no way that Saban Brands or Jonathon Tzachor would ever go for this idea. Yes, it's slightly fanfic'y, but it also works in terms of following somewhat closely to the lineage aspect that Kyoryuger had.

SPOILERS. If you haven't watched all of Kyoryuger, this post will spoil you.

All the Dino Charge Rangers are related (either kids of, or nephews/nieces of) to previous dinosaur powered Power Rangers. That gives us 12 total options.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
- Jason Lee Scott - Red Ranger
- Zack Taylor - Black Ranger
- Billy Cranston - Blue Ranger
- Trini Kwan - Yellow Ranger
- Kimberly Hart - Pink Ranger
- Tommy Oliver - Green Ranger
- Rocky Cardenas - Red Ranger #2
- Adam Park - Black Ranger #2
- Aisha Campbell - Yellow Ranger #2

NOTE: "Kat", who replaced Kimberly, took over the Pink Ninja Ranger powers, not the Pterodactyl powers, so this wouldn't be an option

Power Rangers Dino Thunder
- Connor McKnight - Red Ranger
- Ethan James - Blue Ranger
- Kira Ford - Yellow Ranger
- Tommy Oliver - Black Ranger
- Trent Mercer - White Ranger

Now, we have to explore the suit changes. SPOILERS AHEAD.

Cyan Ranger
- At the end of the series transfers from the Spirit Ranger to a living descendant, becomes female

Gray Ranger
- At the end of the series transfers from the Spirit Ranger to a living descendant, stays male

Violet Ranger
- Played by the Doctor who designed all the tech for the Kyoryugers, transfers his powers to his granddaughter, suit goes from male to female (also returns as male at the end of the series)

Silver Ranger
- Played by the mentor Torin, who then loses powers to the Red Ranger's father, who pretends to be evil for two episodes before revealing he is good

Power Rangers Dino Charge FanFic'y Storyline

Obviously, you keep the lineage of powers. It would be awesome for the Red Ranger to be the son of the MMPR Red Ranger ("Jason"), only to have the character return at the end of the series and become the Silver Ranger. But that won't happen - the actor couldn't even be reached for Super Megaforce.

But I would still love to see older Power Rangers return because their children or nieces/nephews are Power Rangers now. Imagine if the Purple Ranger started as either Billy or Ethan (the big tech guys), and they passed their powers on to a loved one (like a niece in Ethan's case, or a half-alien daughter in Billy's case ... WHO JUST HAPPENS TO BE FROM A PLANET MADE OF WATER AND USES THE DINOSAUR OF WATER).

How simple would it be to write the story as remnants of Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa's army return to seek revenge on the Power Rangers who defeated them so long ago ... but it's been 22 years, the Power Rangers can no longer fight, and now their children or nieces/nephews become the next line of defense.

You in essence FINALLY end the "Mighty Morphin" segment of the franchise with a final story that sees the new descendants of the original Power Rangers come to be and finish off the bad guys they never could.

You can then EASILY use the footage from the Kyoryuger/Gobuster movie (because there's no GoBusters in it lolololol) as it features a team up of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Dino Thunder Power Rangers, and now Dino Charge Power Rangers.

Such a great opportunity that will never be touched upon. Shame.
