You can count me in the group of people who received a Sengoku driver today and felt it was on the small side. It's not bad, but I thought it would be closer in size to the Genesis driver. However, after messing around with it and my lock seeds, I can't say I regret the purchase. I have the Zangetsu faceplate and I forgot it was the same as Gaim's. That's why you don't get any additional sounds, because Gaim doesn't have any additional. Actually after messing around with the Genesis attachment, I feel safe in saying that the Gaim/Zangetsu faceplates are your basic sounds. When you attach the Genesis core, the belt will default to Gaim no matter the lock you use.

There's a youtube tutorial for removing the gear. You can pop the back plate of the driver off and remove that entire mechanism just by taking out a few screws. Don't have to modify the driver in any way and you can just set that piece off to the side.

I was going to do this to my Genesis, since that gear is really annoying. My problem is that I like the gradual fill of the cup on the front and you lose that without the gear.
