I really did find it bizarre and amusing that Haruto was almost dropped entirely out of his own show in the wrap up minus that one cool fight Infinity, which up to that point was an entirely wasted final form (add that one to my list of wasted designs).

Nitoh completely steals the spotlight at the end, after doing jack shit after his introduction (so nothing for about thirty episodes). I have no clue why he was added so early if the writers had no plans for him at all, it's especially frustrating because his backstory suggests an interesting character the show never attempts to capitalise on, so I have no idea why they brought that up either.

Honestly for the last ten or fifteen episodes it really does feel like an entirely new head writer was brought on board that totally confused Haruto and Nitoh.

I think if those last ten to fifteen episodes were the focus for the WHOLE show, it could have been great but it was rushed to the point of meaninglessness and felt so disconnected from the rest of the season it was hard to really care.
