To counter that argument ... they should just then skip the episode. I mean, there's 51 episodes they have to use, and they're only going to turn those 51 in to a total of 20 episodes of Super Megaforce, of which episode 20 is going to be a lot of original footage because the ending is going to have the "Mega Ranger War", featuring 11 cameos from previous Power Rangers.

I understand WHY they did it, but it totally feels lazy. If you can't make the episode make sense with the footage you have available, just skip the episode. There was no need to bring in the DaiRanger suits, none at all, but they did it just to be able to use as much footage as possible, and now the fandom is 50/50 about the usage ... basically if you disliked Saban's treatment of the show, you're horribly ticked off ... and if you like their treatment of the show, you're excited they did something different.

Either way, it's a conversation that shouldn't be happening in a season billed as a "tribute to all the previous seasons of Power Rangers".
