[Shinken Red]

So one of the few seasons I have not watched is 2007's power rangers mystic force. I have begun watching it now via netflicks and loving a lot it.

I set up this thread to vent my thoughts on each episode as i finish them and my first reactions.

I will update regularly. thanks to all of you who spam the awesome magiranger pics.

5.The opening fight was not expected and very aw inspiring. I like the build up with the foreshadowing in that fight. nercila really has it our for old korrag. But im staring to wonder where his alegenice really lies.

the human plot was ok. Nick having nightmares helped set up the rest of his concretion with castros.

The beach fight and morph in the biker jacket helped sell the badass red ranger vibe.

They could have had made castros a little more scarry (i know its a kids show but come on) When nick finaly dose come face to face with the black stallion I noticed in some sceens castros's eye's were red in some shots but not in others. I would have liked to see constance with that. It helped sell the whole Demon hore from hell vibe. oh well

The titans fighting by them selves was a nice touch. i love to see "zords" (because I dont consider them to be true "zords" as zordon descibed them in MMPR) Fighting uncombined and seprately.

The fight was nice. I always loved the CG from Mystic force. Even if the titans got thier asses whooped. Nick combinging with the wall of fire surrounding him and castros was another nice touch that appeled to magi red's fire elemental powers.

I do wonder why castros bothers to let nick combine, epsicaly when castros is "Korrag's steed" not nick's. I am looking forward to castros vs brightstar now.

Over all I liked this episode a lot. Nice battles, good use of sentai footage and new footage to sell the conection between nick and castros while also seting up the ongoing mystery of the season.
