Haruto is pretty much what you get when you try to make a Showa style Rider in the modern era. He has a little more self-doubt than most of the old guys, but in every other way he's much closer to the classic dudes than any of the other modern guys except maybe Hibiki. I love him for pretty much all the reasons you listed. I just wish he'd been on a better show.
