Yeahhh, that episode is pretty "meh." Eleking's original appearance in Ultraseven is a lot more exciting.

Sadly, there's a lot of times where it's necessary to kill the alien/monster of the week. Not because they're entirely evil, but because it's impossible for them to coexist for one reason or another. It's a recurring theme if you will. Still, Max has nothing on the original Ultraman as far as giving no fucks. Just watch ending of the the second episode "Shoot the Invader."
