I actually like that. I've seen this show as straight up parody from the very beginning. Down to it's explanations of everything. The way bad guys just randomly appeared in multiple incarnations, the way new powers just sort of materialized. It's the purest form of parody of the toku genre. Which is why I'm loving it so damn much. Akibaranger was a tribute so it made sense, this is a tribute as well but at the same time a very hardcore parody of every type of toku. Akibaranger called things out that were crazy and made logic out of them, this show just lives and breathes tropes and plot gaps
